Made pension application on February 5,1844 at 93 years of age

He was born on or about the tenth day of January AD 1751 - on the waters of Nottoway River in Virginia. Died on October 5, 1849 in Lowndes County, Alabama

He lived in Union District South Carolina but removed from South Carolina to Georgia and from Georgia to Conecuh County, Alabama

Made his will on April 4, 1847

His only surviving children as of January 6,1855:

John Hawkins,born Abt. 1798 in GA; died Abt. 1854 in Monroe Co., AL.
